Durham Cathedral have announced that they have held their group rates for 2024 and are encouraging coach operators to get in touch and book a future group visit.
There is always plenty to see and do for visiting groups with over 1000 years of history, situated in the heart of Durham’s UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Group Packages
Group packages can be arranged for a free-flow visit or guided tour, including various focused tours for those particularly interested in architecture or the unique stained glass behind the scenes.
Along with the tour, you can include a visit to the Cathedral Museum to see the Monks’ Dormitory and the Great Kitchen with the early medieval Treasures of St Cuthbert – in whose honour the Cathedral was built with his Shrine.
And, of course, the Undercroft Cafe and Cathedral Shop provide a much-welcomed oasis to complete the visit.
As a working Cathedral, groups must book in advance to ensure the date and time of the visit are available. If you would like any further information or to discuss a booking, please contact visits@durhamcathedral.co.uk
