New Year, new you! If you’re already thinking about getting out into the great outdoors after the excesses of Christmas, there is nowhere better than the stunning parkland at Tatton Park, where you can admire the winter landscape while boosting your well-being with a walk with friends or family.
Half-price parkland entry plus free garden entry (mid-week) *
This winter, from January 2, Tatton Park invites you to make the most of a special half-price vehicle parkland entry offer (available only online), meaning you can access 1000 acres of beautiful deer park and nature walks for just £3.25! (Blue badge holders £2) They are also offering free mid-week entry to Tatton Park’s beautiful 50-acre winter gardens. Wrap up warm and put your best foot forward in 2024, and make the most of these amazing offers.
A garden for all seasons
Marvel at the tree skeletons and the aromatic conifers of the Pinetum. Look out for the Cedar of Lebanon tree near the Italian garden, which looks magical with a dusting of snow on the boughs. Warm up in Tatton’s fabulous Fernery and observe the tropical plants and New Zealand tree ferns brought back by the Egerton family from warmer climes.
A walk with wildlife
See the 600-strong deer herd that the rangers feed daily with carrots during the winter. Pick up a free winter scavenger hunt, a great way for little ones to get hands-on with nature. Take the opportunity to get your steps in while enjoying the spectacular views across the Peak District. Visit tattonpark.org.uk for further details.
