Daish’s Holidays, a UK-based family-owned coach holiday provider, has announced it is supporting The Eve Appeal as its charity partner for the next 12 months in a dedicated fundraising drive across its 12 hotels in England and Wales as well as its Bournemouth head office.
Every year Daish’s Holidays pledges to raise money for a deserving cause with the help of donations from guests and staff. This year’s collaboration aims to increase awareness and funds for Eve, a charity funding research and raising awareness into the prevention and earlier diagnosis of the five gynaecological cancers.
Daish’s Holidays will initiate a series of fundraising activities throughout the year to engage both staff and guests in supporting Eve’s crucial work. The partnership reflects the company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and its desire to make a positive impact beyond the realm of affordable UK travel.
Paul Harper, commercial director at Daish’s Holidays, said: “Cancer sadly affects far too many of us and unfortunately in January this year we bid farewell to our remarkable leader and company founder Mrs Jeanne Wilson following her cancer diagnosis. As the founder of Daish’s Holidays back in 1979, Mrs Wilson was much loved by generations of guests and her personal touch and unswerving commitment to guest satisfaction were instrumental in making Daish’s the success it is today.
“Raising money for charitable causes is important to all of us at Daish’s Holidays, and as a tribute to Mrs Wilson it was important for us to select this charity as our partner for the year.
“We’re pleased to be raising money for The Eve Appeal this year in support of its ground-breaking research into the early detection and prevention of gynaecological cancers.”

Contributions will be welcomed via donation points located at the hotels as well as through participating in raffles and fundraising activities throughout the year. The partnership with Eve follows a very successful collaboration with Cancer Research UK in 2023.
