The Victorian workhouse museum is set in 50 acres of glorious countryside, complete with a traditional farm with rare breed animals, alongside woodland walks, orchards and cottage gardens.

Find out about the lives of workhouse residents, and get a glimpse of the past in the 1950s room, Cherry Tree Cottage, and the Village Row. See Engineering Galleries, and find out about the work of the Women’s Land Army.
Optional extras include welcome talks, guided trails, trailer rides, and refreshments. The attraction is open from 17 March to 2 November from 10 am to 5 pm.
