Join the East Lancashire Railway for the long anticipated return of the legendary Flying Scotsman!
The engine will be running intensive passenger services along the 12 mile line, winding from Bury to Heywood in one direction and Bury to Rawtenstall in the other, on a journey taking roughly 1 hour 30 minutes.
Reserve your place in history (and bragging rights too) with a ride behind the world’s most famous steam engine through the beautiful Irwell Valley.
Other train services will also be running alongside the Flying Scotsman. Refreshments will be available at the Trackside Bar in Bury, Bury Station Buffet and the Buffer Stops Bar at Rawtenstall.
