Christmas 2018 is all set to be a success for two attractions that have joined forces to offer a seasonal spectacular.
Leighton Hall near Carnforth, and Hayes Garden World in Ambleside, have teamed up to provide the perfect dual day out for group visitors, in November and December.
Leighton Hall is the historic seat of the famous Gillow furniture making family, and is still a family home. Dressed for Christmas, the guided house tour gives guests a glimpse of nostalgic Christmases gone by, after enjoying mince pies and coffee in front of an open fire.
Then it’s time for a leisurely drive to the Lake District’s most popular garden centre and Christmas shopping experience. Here each person in your group is treated to £5 off a meal in the restaurant and free time to “shop ‘til they drop”!
Hayes has everything you need for the perfect Christmas from baubles and bunting to tinsel and trees. As well as a huge indoor and outdoor garden department, there are ornaments, kitchenware, books and clothing.
