Welcome to one of the longest standing craft markets in the UK, established in 1974.
Alford Craft Market is a non profit organisation promoting Lincolnshire Crafts with craft events, a shop and craft classes. Quality Crafts is what the company are all about – no bought in or assembled goods are allowed at their shop or events.
As well as our Shop and Craft Classes (open all year every day except Sundays) Alford Craft Market offers various events throughout the year from Easter to Christmas:-
Easter – a 4 day event in the Alford Corn Exchange with a variety of quality handmade crafts, a tea shop, live gentle music and free admission. 10am – 4pm each day.
Spring Bank Holiday Working Crafts Weekend – a 3-day event with indoor and outdoor Craft stalls at Alford Manor House Gardens and Big Marquee when the theme will be ‘Metal working’. They will have several demonstrations of working with metal and some hands on workshops. Admission to the Craft Market is on a give what you can afford basis to help them pay for the demonstrations and workshops. 10 – 5pm each day.
The biggest event of the year – the August Bank Holiday Weekend Festival – a 3-day event 10 – 5pm each day again at Alford Manor House with craft demonstrations, live music, Morris Men, Punch & Judy and children’s activities. Beer and BBQ on the Manor House front Lawn and lots of other events going on in Alford that weekend too!
2 Xmas Craft Market weekends at Alford Corn Exchange – a great place for unique presents on the 23/24th November 19 and 30th November/1st December 19, 10 – 4pm Free admission.
