Visit the world famous, iconic and mysterious Callanish Standing Stones, in the Isle of Lewis. Set within 200 metres of the magnificent Callanish Standing Stones, a warm welcome at the Calanais Visitor Centre awaits you. The centre offers a cafe and shop with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, providing you with a perfect setting to sit back, relax and enjoy a coffee while taking in the breathtaking views. The cafe holds 50 covers, with additional marquee and outdoor seating providing another 50.
The gift shop offers a wide range of local products including: Harris Tweed, books, local crafts, jewellery, art, photography and local food produce. For visitors wishing to find out more about the Stones, look no further than our Story of the Stones exhibition, full of information on the fascinating history and origin of the Stones.
The centre offers bus parking for up to 5 coaches at one time. Open year round for visitors seeking the perfect base from which to explore the Isle of Lewis, with excellent home baking, coffee and hearty home cooking.
