Cheshire Oaks raises over £25K for charity partner

£25,119 was raised for Hospice of The Good Shepherd in 2024 – the charity provides palliative care and works to support families and loved ones of their patients

Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet is proud to announce the successful completion of its 2024 charity partnership with The Hospice of The Good Shepherd, a local charity.

The Hospice of The Good Shepherd, located in Cheshire West, Chester, Ellesmere Port, and Deeside, is a specialist palliative and end-of-life care provider. They believe everyone should have access to excellent end-of-life care and support, a vision that resonates with McArthurGlen’s values.

Throughout the year, Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet helped champion the charity’s mission to deliver care for those in need. To fulfil this goal, the designer outlet hosted several successful events and initiatives that raised funds and awareness for the charity. The Hospice also hosted its events from Cheshire Oaks’ “Under the Oaks” outdoor area.

With various activities—including Christmas Tree and Choirs collection boxes, Sparkle Walk, sponsored dog walk, donations from in-centre brands, and the support of the local community—Cheshire Oaks has successfully raised £25,119 for The Hospice of The Good Shepherd.

Kenny Murray, General Manager at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Cheshire Oaks, said: “We always strive to support our local community, and the Charity Partnership programme continues to provide a brilliant opportunity for this goal.

It has been a pleasure to work with The Hospice of The Good Shepherd and help them in raising awareness for such important causes. The success of this partnership is a testament to the generosity and commitment of our staff and customers as well, so we would like to extend our thanks to everyone who got involved.”
