To coincide with the UK release of the feature film ‘Darkest Hour’, the Houses of Parliament is running ‘A Churchill Season’ of special events which includes a ‘Churchill Tour Experience’ on Friday 26 January 2018 with the chance to meet Parliamentary Archivists. ‘Churchill’ Guided Tours will run on all Saturdays between 13 January and 17 February.
‘Darkest Hour’ is a British biographical war drama film directed by Joe Wright. Starring Gary Oldman as Sir Winston Churchill the film follows his early days as Prime Minister and includes shots from inside the Palace of Westminster itself.
The ‘Churchill Season’ events will highlight Churchill’s life and career in the House of Commons, and give visitors a unique and fascinating insight into this key period in our nation’s history.
