The CTA (Coach Tourism Association) is active with a range of bodies and organisations during this challenging period and working to provide information and links to useful sources for all their members.
CTA chair John Wales says: “I want to assure you that we are doing all we can to join in with conversations and represent our sector in government discussions through the TIER group – this is a forum that gives us direct contact with the Tourism Minister, DCMS and representatives from many other tourism bodies. It is important to raise key issues from our sector so it can be raised directly at this level for Government consideration and action.”
It would be useful to hear from members about any specific questions they have so that we can focus our efforts on addressing immediate points of concern and potentially assemble an ongoing FAQ set as a valuable resource for all members facing similar issues.
We are also requesting information on any positive initiatives you may be taking to support local communities etc which we can use to promote positive news about the way the coach tourism sector is responding.
