Independent family-owned coach holiday group Daish’s Holidays has strengthened the management team at its Esplanade Hotel in Scarborough with three new appointments.
The recruits have more than 40 years of hospitality experience between them, including global experience in Egypt, Italy and India. Joe Devassy joins as general manager and will oversee a 36–strong team at the 73-bed hotel. His primary responsibilities include overseeing guest services, housekeeping, maintenance and managing cost control.
Viktoria Stankova has been appointed assistant manager and will work alongside Joe to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the hotel. She will assist with staff rotas, training, and supervising the bar, restaurant and kitchen departments.
Mollie Sanderson has been appointed as duty manager, and her responsibilities include room allocation, guest arrivals and departures, and day tours.
