It is the chalk soil that contributes to the outstanding award winning wine production in this area of the country. Denbies Wine Estate, 265 acres under vine, has been family owned and run since 1984. Denbies vineyard was planted in 1986, and since then has become one of the largest wine producers in the UK. Denbies is honoured over the years to have welcomed several members of the Royal family to the estate, completing the historical connections which date back to Prince Albert in 1851. Denbies produces a range of 14 internationally award winning wines and welcomes visitors to learn about wine production and tasting.
The Denbies Estate offers a fantastic all weather day out, with excellent on-site facilities, ample free parking for coaches and cars, complimentary tour for group organisers and discounts in the restaurants and gift shop, Denbies represents a great value destination in the heart of the Surrey Hills.

Enjoy a glass of Denbies Sparkling Whitedowns Cuvee as you are taken through the vineyard to the highest viewpoint on this informative tour. Denbies Sparkling wine is made from carefully selected handpicked grapes. This informative and relaxed tour is a perfect photo opportunity, cameras are strongly recommended.
