From bicycles to buses!
Set in two acres of attractive grounds, with plenty of free car and coach parking and easy access, Dover Transport Museum contains over fifty road vehicles, many set in period shop and street scenes.
From a World war One army lorry to a Romany caravan, a full size steam roller, cars, commercials and buses, and dozens of bicycles and motor-bikes. Hundreds of models, including several large working model railways and tramways. Outside a picnic area, a full size steam locomotive, several narrow gauge locomotives and even an Anderson air raid shelter.
The Tramstop Tearoom is famous for its home made cakes, as well as bacon baps, sandwiches, panini’s,and a refreshing cuppa. (Try the bread pudding!!).
Coach parties and groups at any time by arrangement. Group rates apply. Ideal as a part day filler visit.
