English Heritage Holds Admission Prices at 2020 Levels Until April 2022

English Heritage is holding admission prices at 2020 levels for group visits until April 2022 for its 120-plus paid-for historic attractions countrywide, including its most popular tourist sites like Stonehenge, Tintagel Castle, Dover Castle and Osborne.

The charity has made the decision to hold prices to play its part in supporting the recovery of the travel industry. Elizabeth Page, Historic Properties Director for English Heritage said:

“Many of our travel trade and GTO partners moved their customers’ bookings from 2020 into 2021 without a price increase and we feel it is right that we should in turn do the same. We hope this will go some way towards helping them recover from the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and will also stimulate more visits to our historic sites in the months ahead.”

English Heritage has today (12 November 2020) published full pricing details for both 2021-22 and 2022-23 in a downloadable booklet at www.english-heritage.org.uk/traveltrade. The  majority of English Heritage admission prices for 2022-23 will be capped at a 2% increase, including at its most popular attractions. Differential pricing was introduced at Stonehenge this year, with a standard price applied for 1 June-31 August visits and an off-peak price for the rest of the year. This will be extended to a further 11 sites in 2022/23.

Information on the most group-friendly English Heritage sites are detailed in the downloadable Group Visits Guide on the English Heritage website and bookings for 2021 are now open – to book, email bookings@english-heritage.org.uk.

English Heritage gives a generous 15% discount on published admission prices (10% at Stonehenge) for groups of 11 or more, with one tour leader and one coach driver admitted free with each group of 11 or more -To subscribe to receive the latest email updates on English Heritage news for the travel trade and GTOs, email traveltrade@english-heritage.org.uk
