For the first time, Longleat will be opening the doors of their newly built event facility, The Longhouse, for group dining this Christmas.
Visitors will be able to enjoy a two or three course, sit-down meal in parties of up to 200 in the Longhouse. This self-contained event facility boasts its own accessible restrooms, and an outdoor area which will feature a selection of lanterns in celebration of the Famous Festival of Light.
Starting on selected dates from 10th November, and running through to 2nd January, the winter spectacular will once again transform the world-famous Wiltshire estate into a glowing winter wonderland on a spectacular scale.
Nothing quite like The Festival of Light had ever been seen in the UK before it first appeared in 2014 – as hundreds of illuminated designs (some measuring up to 20 metres in height, and 70 metres in length) populate the historic grounds and attractions.
2017 will be the fourth year of the Festival of Light, and the theme is still firmly under wraps. However, preparations are underway and 2017’s festival is set to be the biggest and most awe-inspiring yet. Every lantern which will be on display has been newly designed by Longleat as complete originals, and will be custom built throughout the summer, ready for their arrival to their winter home on the expansive gardens and grounds of Longleat estate. Groups have the advantage of being able to book their tickets for the Festival of Light before tickets go up for general sale, and are encouraged to do so as the event has been steadily gaining traction as a must-see attraction for the south-west during the festive season.
Groups of 12+ can take advantage of Longleat’s 2016 prices for all 2017 bookings, including for the Festival of Light!
Adults £23.50, children (3-15) £17.45, seniors £18.45, under 3s go free.
Groups can also access exclusive perks such as complimentary organiser tickets, and driver lunch vouchers, along with free parking and discounted food and beverage vouchers for guests.
