Epsom Coaches called budding Berry’s and Have-a-go Hollywoods to put their baking skills to the test today (Tuesday 27th September) and raise money for Macmillan Cancer as part of the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning event taking place this week
The Mayor of Epsom & Ewell George Crawford and the Mayoress, Jackie Hennings were star judges, ably assisted by MD of Epsom Coaches Steve Whiteway with over £100 raised.
Coach Services Manager John Fowler claimed Star Baker with a delicious chocolate cake and received a Mary Berry bake book and cupcake cases whilst runner-up was awarded to holiday sales team member Gaye Wilson with her strawberry sponge.
“Who knew there were so many great bakers at Epsom Coaches,” commented PR and Marketing Manager for Epsom Coaches Jennifer Sutton. “There was a great turn-out and the judges had a hard time choosing a winner but our MD and The Mayor and Mayoress did a wonderful job and we have raised over £100 for Macmillan from the cake sale so far which is fantastic.”
