Excursions™ 2015 extends opening time

Excursions™, the UK’s longest established, national group travel show, is to stay open for longer in 2015 to allow even more business to be conducted

Following the exhibition’s move into the Great Hall at Alexandra Palace, North London in its 10th anniversary year, Excursions™ 2014 significantly increased its floor space and attracted over 30% more visitors and some 15% extra exhibitors.

The 2015 show, which will take place on Saturday, 24th January, will now open at 10am, instead of 10.30am giving group travel organisers and coach and tour operators longer to research fresh ideas and seek inspiration for their days out and short breaks.

Closing time will remain at 4pm.

The show will bring together some 300 exhibitors from the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe and more than 1,300 quality group buyers and inbound/outbound itinerary planners, all meeting under one roof. Attractions, destinations, accommodation providers and tour operators will be showcasing their latest group offer.

The dynamic, free entry exhibition, is co-organised by Tourism South East and GTO magazine, and works in partnership with London & Partners and VisitEngland.

Commenting on the show’s ongoing success, joint organiser Joanne Channon, from Tourism South East said; “We are confident Excursions™ 2015 will see an even greater number of quality visitors and exhibitors; it’s therefore essential we provide the time they need to discuss and negotiate their business, ensuring we continue to deliver a high level of positive enquiries and new bookings for exhibitors”.

Remember…stands at Excursions™ 2015, are available at a special early bird discounted price until 27th June 2014. Demand for space is expected to be high following this year’s record-breaking show when visitor numbers were up by over 30% following the show’s move into the Great Hall for its 10th anniversary at Alexandra Palace, North London.
