Armed Forces Weekend Service at National Memorial Arboretum
The National Memorial Arboretum is the Nation’s year-round place to Remember, an inspirational living landscape where families, friends and comrades can celebrate lives lived and remember lives lost.
Each year the Arboretum develops commemorative and celebratory events perfect for coach parties. On 6 June, the Arboretum commemorates the anniversary of D-Day with a moving moment of reflection from resident bugler Antonio Socci to remember the events of 1944 that began the allied liberation of Europe. Stunning vocalists The London Belles will follow with a nostalgic afternoon performance of 1940s classics while guests enjoy delicious tea, coffee and cake. £20 per person, groups of 10 or more.
On 17 June, the Arboretum welcomes The Jive Aces for an evening of high-energy and spectacular showmanship. Renowned for being the first band to reach the final rounds of Britain’s Got Talent, The Jive Aces have firmly established themselves as the UK’s number 1 Jive and Swing Band. Priced from £38per person for groups of ten or more, your ticket includes a delicious two-course dinner and welcome drink.
Armed Forces Weekend returns to the Arboretum on 24-25 June and is the perfect opportunity to show support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving troops to Service families, veterans and cadets. A Service of Tribute will be held on Saturday 24 June, while live music, family activities and food and craft stalls will be available on both days.
August sees the return of the Arboretum’s Summer Proms, welcoming the Band of The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, Soprano Louise Callinan and Baritone Rodney Earl Clarke to the stage for an evening of live music, set within the beautiful surroundings of our grounds. Groups enjoy discounted tickets of £25 per person.
New for 2023, our Summer Proms Groups Package includes a delicious sharing platter and a glass of fizz in our restaurant prior to the outdoor performance. £55 per person including a performance ticket.
