The North Norfolk Railway will be running a steam and diesel train service between the 10th and 18th of February.
Head to the NNR for a fabulous day out for the whole family this half term. Travel along the picturesque North Norfolk coastline aboard our heritage carriages hauled by ‘Black Prince’* or trundle down the line in our vintage Diesel Unit which boasts panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
Stop off at one of our refreshment and souvenir rooms for a well-earned cuppa before taking the little ones to the children’s play area at Holt or the Children’s coach at Sheringham. Discover the history of the line at the William Marriott Museum and marvel at our model railways in Holt (located in the Suburban coach) and at Weybourne.
Time travel along the line, from the last days of steam at 1950s BR Sheringham, drop into the 1930s with the LNER at Holt and go all the way back to the Edwardian period at Weybourne. Our stations are all lovingly restored with so much to discover, learn and reminisce about along the way.
With a ‘Hop-on-hop-off Rover ticket’ you can journey up and down our 5 1/2 mile preserved line as many time as you like throughout the day, so step back in time and enjoy a wonderful day out this half term holiday.
It really is more than just a train ride at the North Norfolk Railway.
