The Coach Tourism Association has appointed a new Chair, Robert Shaw, who has now taken over from outgoing Chair John Wales.
Following a board meeting on 09-December-20 the CTA has also announced the appointment of two new board members, Emma Russell from Alfa Travel and Lucy Osborne from Leger/Shearings.
Robert Shaw was the Association’s previous Vice Chair and Treasurer, and is Director of Harry Shaw in Coventry. He said: “Our industry is of course facing very difficult times at present. But the recent news of vaccinations is a great encouragement and I know our members are looking forward to running coach tours this Winter, next Spring, and are hoping for a Summer season which is as normal as possible.”
He added: “I would also very much like to thank John Wales for his dynamic leadership during the last three years which saw many new members join the CTA and take part in our popular events throughout the year.”
