Potters biggest event of the year is The Just Retirement World Indoor Bowls Championships which takes place every year in the International Arena. January 2017 will be the 19th year at Potters Resort. The Championships in 2017 start on Friday 13th – Sunday 29th January. During the 17 days of this thrilling tournament, 16 top ranked players in the world plus 16 qualifiers will battle it out on the blue rink for the biggest and best title within the bowls world.
People travel far and wide to Potters to support their favourite player. Local players also receive some great support from the crowds in their quest for World Bowls glory, but nothing is guaranteed during the Championships, apart from a great atmosphere, wonderful hospitality and some of the best bowls anywhere in the world.
