Britannia is the Travellers’ Choice
Scotland’s best attraction, The Royal Yacht Britannia, in Edinburgh, has won a prestigious TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Award. The awards honour the world’s top attractions, based on millions of reviews and opinions from travellers around the globe.
Five-star attraction Britannia, Her Majesty The Queen’s former floating palace, has been placed among the top three attractions in Scotland, and the top six in the UK, alongside Durham Cathedral, York Minister and the Tower of London.
Bob Downie, Chief Executive of The Royal Yacht Britannia commented: “We are incredibly proud to receive this award, since it reflects our commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience for all our visitors. We take our TripAdvisor reviews extremely seriously, responding to every visitor who takes the time to write a review.”
The Royal Yacht also reached over 2,000 ‘Excellent’ reviews (currently averaging 72% Excellent) and was awarded TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence for the second year running.
