RHA Coaches urges all operators to sign a petition to save Matlock Bath Coach Park, which may be turned into a traveller site.
Following up on the closure of Matlock Bath coach park, we’re informed that the matter of providing temporary sites for travellers is to be discussed at a meeting of Derbyshire Dales District Council on 9 December,” said Andy Warrender, Operations Manager – Coaches. “There are six sites which were consulted on, one of which is the coach park, and we’re told that a decision on which of the sites will be designated for travellers is likely to be made at that meeting.
“A petition has been raised by Matlock Bath Parish Council, who have been campaigning for the coach park to be restored.”

Andy says that the petition is intended to be presented to Councillors at or ahead of the meeting to evidence support for coach parking. The Parish Council has asked Andy to support a final push to gather as many signatures as possible.
