Located trackside at the world-famous Silverstone race circuit, the Museum houses an incredible collection of iconic race cars, motorbikes, and more for visitors of all ages.
The venue features plenty of parking for coaches, excellent toilet facilities, a retail store, and the Refuel Café on-site, which serves hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, snacks, and hot meals.

Coach drivers get FREE ADMISSION to the Museum each trip, with the usual dwell time in the attraction averaging 2.5 to 3 hours. The museum is within easy reach of major roads and motorways, including the M1, M40, A43, and A5. Most roads approaching the destination are dual carriageways for smooth travel planning.
The attraction is not just your standard museum. Silverstone Museum is a world-class visitor attraction, home to the British Racing Drivers’ Club archive collection and the Sim Suite at Silverstone, a purpose-built racing simulator facility. Visitors can get behind the wheel of a wide range of virtual race cars and put the pedal to the metal to set their fastest lap around Silverstone! If that wasn’t enough, they even have a to-scale model of Silverstone in the exclusive Scalextric On Track exhibit – pure racing nostalgia!

And the fun continues outdoors. The Heritage Track Trail takes visitors out onto the hallowed tarmac of the decommissioned Bridge and Priory corners from the pre-2009 Silverstone layout, with multiple info points telling the story of the track’s evolution over the decades before the trail ends at the historic Luffield Terrace.

The museum is fully accessible, with level access to the car park, lifts, wide spaces, and a specialist changing places facility. We can also provide Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPs) for visitors with additional needs upon request at the Ticket Desk.
Discounts are available for groups of 10+ and 20+, and there is a huge car park for coach parking, manoeuvring, and drop-off.
