Interested in a group visit to Bodiam Castle? Why not enhance your experience with our ‘Tour and Tea’ offer, new for 2015
Come and enjoy a 45 minute guided tour by one of our costumed volunteer guides, where you will learn about the exciting history surrounding Bodiam Castle and its infamous owner. Discover the impressive defence features that make Bodiam a fortress, while exploring the rooms where members of the household would have lived and worked. Afterwards, sit down for a lovely cream tea in our terrace room and delight in some of Marilyn’s delicious homemade scones. Choose between a fruit or cheese scone, combined with either tea or coffee.
Cream teas should be booked in advance of your visit, to ensure everything is ready and waiting for your arrival. As with any group booking, we offer free and reserved coach parking, a £5.00 tea room voucher for the coach driver, and free admission for the group leader.
A minimum of 15 persons are required for this experience, at a cost £12.80 (includes castle entry, guided tour, and cream tea).
Special dietary requirements can also be taken into consideration. Please note that the battlements and towers are not included on the tour route, so feel free to explore the castle afterwards.
