
Bridport is famous for its historic market, which takes place on the three main streets of the town centre each Wednesday & Saturday; it is also famed for its rope & net making. With its harbour side, West Bay a mile away it is also a Gateway Town for the World Heritage site of the Jurassic coast. The town has plenty to see and do with a great mix of independent shops, an incredible selection of local eateries, plus an Arts & Vintage Quarter. You can visit the Historic Town Hall or the Museum.
Bridport and West Bay host an impressive calendar of events throughout the year. Bridport is fortunate to have a variety of entertainment centres including The Electric Palace, Arts Centre and Lyric Theatre; often there is live music on Bucky Doo Square, situated in front of the Town Hall. A visit to the Tourist Information Centre, situated in the Town Hall is worthwhile.
There is plenty of coach parking in Bridport within easy walking distance of the town centre and at West Bay close to the harbour side.
